In the Northcrest neighborhood, a split-level home was under contract when the buyer’s inspection revealed honey bees entering the joint where the brick met the wood siding between the upper and lower stories. Further investigation found bee activity in the floor joists of the upper level. The homeowners needed the bees removed quickly and humanely — without jeopardizing the sale — while preventing the possibility of a future infestation.
We began the removal process from inside the home, sealing off the affected room and protecting the floors and walls with heavy plastic sheeting. As the work progressed, we discovered comb and bees not only behind the drywall but also behind the homasote layer, all the way to the exterior brick. This required a combination of interior and exterior removal methods.

The relocated bees were transported to a larger property in Lilburn before being transferred to their permanent managed hive, where they continue to thrive.
What began as a stressful inspection-day discovery became a fully restored and bee-free home, ready for its new owners. The removal protected the property’s structure, preserved the bee colony for relocation, and prevented the risk of future infestations. By completing both the repair and the humane removal, we left the home looking better than before — inside and out.
We humanely remove and relocate bees, protecting your property and helping colonies thrive in managed hives.
